You were stationed in the harbor of the pearl I wrote you letters that were stained with salty waters And I laughed at your whimsical replies But from across the seas, I couldn't see your salty eyes I wonder if the water fits a suitable grave For all those sailors home under the waves If I'll be welcomed by the other souls Or if it's just to late to know You remind me of Sundays Your collar forces blood to your brain with a clip on tie that fades in the rain You remind me of Sundays With communion every month, and that should make up for all the wrong we've done From a distance, you set fire to my eyes With a sight I hadn't seen in a long time Compassion sailing on a wood-trimmed boat I will flail and fling my soul to stay afloat The last letter you received from me Was written by a man who spoke for me He spoke of honor and life after death He spoke of joy in eternal wealth You remind me of Sundays Your collar forces blood to your brain with a clip on tie that fades in the rain You remind me of Sundays With communion every month, and that should make up for all the wrong we've done

Stella 05:17
The New Year was your falsehood And I was your golden boy You were tipsy I was turvy We fit hand in hand And we ran like power lines Through suburban lands You were my exclamation And I was the hesitation But we were happy with the company Of lost and found and stolen property I hope you're happy with the choices you made But may I ask you this? Do you ever think of the winter? We left unfinished with no concluding words You must've been drunk you weren't talking right You were spouting nonsense left and right, and vomit on my shoes You said happiness was your designated driver And he only had room for him and you Hello, my name is time! I pointed out the window At a sight I thought you'd like Soil packed into the ground To a specified location I should know what I'm walking on It contains a story, it contains a song

Robot Song 06:12
I met you on the county line You said come with me, we can hop the line Rules are rules that were broken by you As I sat by and watched on the TV tube Flesh is flesh as night is a thief He's creeping in the shadows just to stare at the blank concrete I see your boy, he's over at the bar with his friends Laughing, drinking and he's having a good time And what do you hear if you're a monster at the end of the year? The words on your lips, muffled by, his hands on your hips And what do you hear if you're a monster at the end of the year? I kissed those lips, drunk in pity, the wine made you wity And skies and trees, houses and buildings Scenery in this masquerade Dry words spill from your lips Cracked from time and loneliness Foul language spoils your tongue As you told me about your situation Best friends are balanced on a dime And they whisper in your ear, 'I don't have the time' Flesh is flesh as night is a thief He's creeping in the shadows just to stare at the blank concrete I see your boy, he's over at the bar with his friends Laughing, drinking and he's having a good time And what do you hear if you're a monster at the end of the year? The words on your lips, muffled by, his hands on your hips And what do you hear if you're a monster at the end of the year? I kissed those lips, drunk in pity, the wine made you wity And skies and trees, houses and buildings Scenery in this masquerade Dry words spill from your lips Cracked from time and loneliness

Hushed fingers and cigarettes Played there role so well In a stage play that I wrote When I was your age Our ambitions over our heads But we let them slip away And sometimes I think We were happier those days And we cried when we saw Our goals being sold To the men Who wore silver and gold And it's amazing to me After all these years That we lived every day Without assurance or fear We tattoo our tongues With the stories we're afraid to tell Until one day We forget them all We knew it all We knew it all We knew it all We knew it all along

So we set sail For California No worries now Frequent flier miles Too much of a hassle Dead leaves in the clouds We sold our clothes to the bureaucrats They were naked in the truth We were as clothed as they come and we yelled 'I wish, I wish I had never met you at all I wish, I wish you weren't so predicatable' We sold our hair to the ladies everywhere They were jealous of our beauty We were jealous of their valor, they yelled 'We don't care about your curly locks We just care about our cancer' I said I know who I am to where I'm going to But you saw right through the masquerade All painted white to conceal my face at night As I crept through the orchard to appeal to the magistrate I think I do We sold our eyes to the state We were tired of people shouting People screamin, they were yellin' 'We don't care about your pinstriped suits We just care about our taxes' We sold our heart to the country with no name A reputation preceding, Unwanted fame and they yelled 'I wish, I wish I had never met you at all I wish, I wish you weren't so predicatable' I said I know who I am to where I'm going to But you saw right through the masquerade All painted white to conceal my face at night As I crept through the orchard to appeal to the magistrate I think I do

Barrabas 05:02
I could split this rug in two, one for me, one for you Because this ground beneath our feet is loyal to me and only me And as I crept through dining halls of drunken men and their trophy wives All struggling to recount the events of their faulty lives And in unison I heard harmonies I've never heard Barabas, Barabas, Barabas, Barabas, how is your peace? Barabas, Barabas, Barabas, Barabas, how is your peace?
15.
Shalome 02:46
Did it matter to you? It don't mean a thing to me Cause I've spent my time, I've spent my time on useful things Like calling you, at 3 am Just to say, I think we're better of that way Calm me down now, calm me down Calm me down now, call me over Cover me in your dust

Lopez on the Runway was Tj Martinson (vocals, guitar), Josh Bruner (bass, vocals), Jesse Parks (drums), and Blake Boie (lead guitar). Formed in Bourbonnais, Illinois in 2006, LotR toured all around the southern-chicagoland area and was highly influential in their local music scene, centered around a small college town. Initially a trio, the band rounded out its lineup when Blake Boie was recruited for lead guitar duties in early 2008. In early 2010, the band disbanded after recording the “Babylon EP.” They released four EP’s over their four-year run.
